HOPE BEHIND THE HILLS

Melodic Black Metal Beyond the Veil of Reality

Hope Behind The Hills will captivate fans of Dissection, Mgła, Uada or Saor.

Founded in Greece in 2023 by Kyp Amandil as a one-man project, the band quickly grew through two full-length albums, No Fate for a Moribund (2024) and The Realm of Ideas and Shadows (2025) — the latter featured by Black Metal Promotion, with over 50,000 views on YouTube.

Now a four-piece live band, Hope Behind The Hills has played numerous shows and mini-tours across Greece, and is working on a third full-length album. Its music explores mortality, illusion and the fragile nature of human perception, from an idealist perspective: death as a passage, and perhaps a revelation of what lies behind the reality we perceive.
