MYR
MYR
Anthems Forged in the Frozen North
Myr will captivate fans of Satyricon, Bathory or Dissection, delivering raw, primal black metal fused with melodic elements rooted in the Northern musical tradition.
Based in Norway, Myr is the work of Svartan and TZommer, two seasoned members of the metal community. More than a band, Myr is an immersion into the dark, untamed spirit of Northern black metal, steeped in the heritage of the Scandinavian legends.
Their debut album Helvegen is a haunting exploration of mysticism and darkness, invoking the brutal intensity of the Nordic wilderness.
Extracts from reviews:

« An almost perfect record… Helvegen – a magisterial accomplishment for the genre and a foreshadowing of amazing things to come out of Myr. » Antichrist Magazine
