Horizon Ablaze will appeal to fans of avant-garde extreme metal, fusing the rich atmosphere of black metal with the explosive expression of death metal.
Hailing from the southern coast of Norway, the band gathers seasoned musicians: Andre Kvebek (ex-1349, From The Vastland, Den Saakaldte, Pantheon I) and Maurice Adams (Motorfinger, Breed) – Vocals, Stian Ruethemann and Jan Laksesvela – Guitars, Daniel Ruethemann – Bass, and Kevin Kvåle (Gaahls Wyrd, HARM, From The Vastland) – Drums.
Each release is built on uncompromising songwriting and the will to offer something Norwegian metal has never heard before. Their latest album, Livets Høst, is a monumental work set in a sonic landscape unlike anything else in the genre. Its artwork was painted by Kjell Åge Meland.
